CFBF Women in Movies Humor
The whole reason this campaign got started is because women in movies in general are so awful and boring. There are three problems that contribute to their awfulness:The Problem with Women in Movie Trailers
In trailers for any movie other than a chick flick, the female characters inevitably get to say
things like:
What is it?
What do they want?
Why are you doing this to me?
The occasional film bereft of women will assign the question-asking to a male character.
The Problem with Women in Movie Posters
For one reason or another, adult men in movie posters get to look straight at the camera, aggressive and arresting,
while adult women get to look off into space, or at their love interests, or at their cleavage. Some of the best examples

The Problem with Women in Movie Romances
A starlet can't make it big in Hollywood without proving she can pretend to be interested in an unpleasantly older man. What follows is a list of the most difficult-to-watch May-December movie romances, with each name followed by age at the time the movie was released. The issue of attractive women getting paired with unattractive men (Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts & Richard Gere) is interesting, but not addressed here.
