CFBF Women in Movies HumorThe whole reason this campaign got started is because women in movies in general are so awful and boring. There are three problems that contribute to their awfulness:The Problem with Women in Movie Trailers
The Problem with Women in Movie Romances A starlet can't make it big in Hollywood without proving she can pretend to be interested in an unpleasantly older man. What follows is a list of the most difficult-to-watch May-December movie romances, with each name followed by age at the time the movie was released. The issue of attractive women getting paired with unattractive men (Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts & Richard Gere) is interesting, but not addressed here. -Sean Connery (69) & Catherine Zeta Jones (30) Entrapment, 1999 -Harrison Ford (56) & Anne Heche (29) Six Days, Seven Nights, 1998 -Harrison Ford (53) & Julia Ormond (30) Sabrina, 1995 -Robert Redford (61) & Kristin Scott Thomas (38) The Horse Whisperer, 1998 (Made all the worse by the fact that Redford's face now looks like a pitted prune. He should have borrowed Paul Newman's sunblock.) -Warren Beatty (61) & Halle Berry (30) Bulworth, 1998 (At least they're close alphabetically.) STAR WARS HUMOR |
